This Toronto District School Board alternative school design program, where students earn high school credits by creating their own brand and running a skateboard business / professional design studio, now offers even more SK8 Entrepreneurship Opportunities & New Courses including SK8 & Art Co-ops, INDIGENOUS SK8 Studies, Physical Arts & Mindful Living...


*Drop-in Info Sessions are held every Wednesday at 9AM in the OSF Classroom (Room 3, 707 Dundas St. W.) during the school year.


Update for September Registration 2019/OSF Year 11: The Oasis Skateboard Factory Classroom is now closed and we won't be returning calls until Sept. 4. If you need to reach someone over the summer please call the Oasis Alternative S.S. Main Office at 416-393-9830 (20 Brant St. 3rd Floor). We will be holding a drop-in Info Session for remaining spaces on Wednesday Sept. 4 at 9AM,. Thursday Sept. 5th at 4PM and Friday Sept. 6th at 1PM in the OSF Classroom (Room 3, 707 Dundas St. W.). All New and Returning Students must claim their spot and be timetabled Thursday Sept. 5 at 10:30AM (dismissed at 1PM). Mandatory Orientation for All Students Friday Sept. 6 at 10:30AM (dismissed at 1PM). Full day classes and projects start Monday Sept. 9, 2019.

Longboard Launch 2010

Longboard Launch 2010 @ Longboard Living: Sept. 30, 3-5 PM, 74 Oxford St. in Kensington Market. Come celebrate our collaboration with Longboard Living, Toronto's premier longboard shop! Original hand-made, stenciled and shaped boards are on sale as gripped completes, with Randal trucks and a variety of wheels priced to move at $220. Thanks to Ryan and the Longboard Living family for a great project to kick start a new school year of skateboard production!

Graffiti Materials/Safety/Legality Workshops by local artists this week as students prep boards for upcoming product launch at Longboard Living

Skateboards and Longboards designed by OSF students are now available in the Live Local Community Marketplace and one of our custom designed boards was featured in a poster for one of Scadding Court Community Centre's upcoming youth programs.

A Welcome to Roarockit!

Students enjoyed a pizza lunch and a business presentation by our main program partners Norah & Ted of Roarockit Skateboard Company, as well as got inspired to begin to design their own boards and graphics after seeing the work by Michael of BOZ BOARDS.
