A big shift happened at OSF in the early years of designing & redesigning the program with so called “at-risk” youth or students that have not experienced school success. Rather than approach the community from a charity model to just donate to the enrichment of opportunities for these students who just didn’t fit neatly into boxes, we flipped the script and began to promote our youth as active, essential contributors to the community offering their design services through their unique voices and skills. Are we a School or a Creative Agency made up of creative misfit Skaters & Creators? OSF Students are definitely a Service to our Community!
