A Message from the OSF Teachers:

Celebrate Oasis Skateboard Factory!

Friends, Family & Supporters of OSF,

We invite you to celebrate student success as we complete the fourth year of the Oasis Skateboard Factory program! This message is to inform you of some information and events as we finish another highly successful school year, close the classroom studio down for the summer and look forward to starting back in September:

You are invited to our “mmm…SK8boards & BBQ” end of the year BBQ/Art Show & Sale/ Graduation & Leaving Ceremony hosted at Roarockit Skateboard Company on Friday, June 14, 7-9PM. Students will be presenting their brands for sale in the form of OSF x The Baitshop T-shirts & stickers, zines, buttons and boards…so come out and support our creative youth! The unique “Dream Decks” built by OSF Leadership students with mentorship by Ted Hunter and Roarockit Skateboard Company will be featured on display, so definitely don’t miss this event!

You are also invited to the TORD Championship Derby Event on Saturday, June 15. Seven OSF Student designed Derby Team Helmets will be auctioned to support local female athletes. These helmets are on display now until the event at Cardinal Skate Shop (940 Bloor St. West), so check them out!

Also, check out the newsstands this summer/fall for a feature on OSF in international skateboarding magazine Colour, and pick up Concrete Wave for an 8-page spread written by our students.

Please share the link below with any interested youth wanting to join our design crew:

If you want to pick up some OSF Merch this summer, student stenciled “Icons, Idols & Outlaws” griptape is available at Cardinal Skate Shop. Our on-line shop is in development and will be new & improved in September, but check it out now to see some of the products and services OSF offers the community:

If you want to help OSF continue to innovate as we develop our new screenprinting social enterprise, please donate to our crowdfunded project on My Class Needs:

Don’t forget to follow OSF through our website for project updates, student calendar dates and links to our social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram):
